I just got this pannier bag and have been using it commuting to work for a week. It works great and it can carry tons of stuff! It's very easy to install on my bike rack just using the velcro straps and it's pretty secure even when I don't have anything in the bag. Before I bought the bag, I've read many bad things about the hooks on the back-side for affixing the bottom to the rack. Actually the hook didn't come with the bag when I got it but I don't really need to use the hook to secure the bag so that's not a big deal. I keep the shoulder strap connected to the bag (just on one hook for each side). So the only small problem I found is that if I have a lot of stuff in the bag and if they are not evenly distributed on both bags, the magnet is not strong enough to hold these two bags together so one side will kind of fall off when I use the shoulder strap to carry it. First, the sleeve did not fit a 15 inch laptop. Second, it came without the connector clips. When I looked further at how the pannier connects to a bike rack, I was shocked. There were very few connection possibilities and looked shoddy compared to most other panniers. Get something else for the same price or less! |
