Just about ready to order the 20X1.50 kenda west HI psi tire, my current tire (kenda west) has over 10,000 miles. I use my recumbent for both commuting and touring, most tour rides are 500 to 1000 miles. I have replaced 3 rear tires all Kenda west tires HI PSI there good for alittle over 3,000 miles and then it's time to replace them which I find common for recumbents. I also use tire liners for the rear tires which cuts down on the flats. Aside from the slow delivery that Amazon provides I'm overjoyed with this tire. I have the 20" high pressure on the back and the 16" high pressure on the front of my recumbent. I was a little concerned about the high pressure tires causing a harsh ride however it is better than I thought. Since I'm actually moving faster on this tire than the old 60PSI tires I fly over surface irregularities and bumps. Much less pedal effort and possibly better handling than the softer tires. I appreciate a company that provides a quality tire at a reasonable price. I don't concern myself with flat resistance too much because my experience with tires that have a flat resistant belt cause a dead feeling ride and I don't ride through too many bad areas anyway.
