The Surrey Deluxe, reminiscent of early automobiles at the beginning of the 20th century, is a commercial, rental grade Surrey bike that has been a staple in the leisure cycle and rental business for over 40 years. The four wheel Surrey bike provides families and other sightseers with the ability to leisurely enjoy any park, boulevard, beach or lakefront. The Surrey bike is a transportation alternative to school and the neighborhood grocery store. The Surrey Deluxe, featuring a bake on powder coat paint, is constructed of mild steel and stainless steel with aluminum alloy wheels, cranks and fenders and uses industrial grade, nickel plated chains to transfer cranking power to the rear wheels. The foam injected seats and marine grade canopy provide a comfortable seat to enjoy a sunny afternoon. The Surrey Deluxe pedals like bike and steers like a car with rack and pinion steering. Two rear drum brakes and front / rear LED lights insure easy, safe operation under all conditions. The kids will love the patented dual child seat handle bars! The result is a luxury touring bike that pedals like a bike and steers like a car. The Surrey Deluxe is well built, with heavy-gauge, stainless-steel spokes; aluminum fenders and panels; an industrial-grade, rust-free KMC chain; aluminum alloy cranks; and high-quality rack-and-pinion steering. The bike also includes Surrey's Wide Track design, which offers the best lateral stability in the industry. With a wheel base greater than the industry average, the Wide Track gives the bike added safety and stability during turns--a must for a multi-passenger bike.
The bike's handlebar child seat (patent pending) is yet another exclusive feature of the Surrey Deluxe.
